This is multi award winning, entrepreneurial business is looking for a DevOps Engineer with excellent Docker skills. A market leader in the global addressing marketplace, this organisation is rapidly expanding to meet a fast growing client base as well as increase in demand from existing customers. The DevOps Engineer will join its existing team as an expert and be based at its Head Office in West London. The office is served well by public transport.

Candidates with experience in Global Addressing; Automotive, in Vehicle Navigation; Hospitality and Travel Sectors are of keen interest. however, experience across: Aid & Development; Asset Management; Banking and Finance, Delivery, Post & Ecommerce Emergency Response; Exploration & Sports; Events; GIS; National Mapping & Government; Property Search and Taxis.

Essential Skills and Responsibilities

  • Experienced DevOps Engineer with excellent build and production skills

  • Responsible for contributing towards building a continuous improvement strategy based on Travis-CI

  • Responsible for creating a continuous deployment strategy and scaling the infrastructure into the cloud

  • Familiarity with Linux preferably CentOS

  • Knowledge of Cloud Server platforms and server provisioning strategy

  • Experience of deployment tool sets such specifically Docker and Ansible

  • Shell Scripting

  • Git

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong atention to detail

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in lay terms

  • Passion for keeping up to date with new technological advances

  • Ability to collaborate with others and work independently

  • Ability to work in a demanding a fast growth environment

    
Advantageous Skills

  • Knowledge of building scalable data stores

  • Experience of setting up your own Start Up business or working in a successful Start Up environment
